Notes for installation of plastic flange
Plastic pipe in construction, often use plastic flange and cast iron flange, iron valve and other pipe butt. Our flange basically has two kinds: one kind is Φ injection under 315 flange (a socket and adhesive), another is by welding, glass fiber reinforced plastic composite of various specifications of the socket flange, butt should first consider both flange and butt joint of flange standard is unified, pressure levels are the same. Now the implementation of the standard is basically the use of national standards, users sometimes also use metallurgical Ministry or other standards of flange. The grade of village force is generally 1.0mpa, 1.25mpa, 1.6mpa and so on. Only choose the same standard, the same pressure class flange butt when the size of the outer circle, hole distance can be matched.

Besides, attention should also be paid to the following aspects:
1. Before bonding, first of all, cover the loosed flange flange in the middle of the pipe, and then the flange seal shall be bonded, otherwise, the flange seal will be stuck in after bonding, (one end is Reuters material expansion mouth, and the other end is the bonded seal).
2. Set the flange in the correct direction; Because the two sides of the sleeve flange are not the same, (one side is flat, one side has a groove) so the force direction is restricted, the side with a groove should be toward the other side of the butt flange, and after bonding to solidify to a certain time before fastening the bolt.
When connecting FRP composite flanges with other flanges, it is necessary to consider whether the direction of screw hole is appropriate. For example, the flange on one side has been connected to the pipeline, and the composite flange plate connected after the connection must be relative to the flange hole connected first, otherwise the screw hole is misaligned and the bolt cannot pass through.
When fastening the bolt, whether it is injection molding flange or fiberglass composite flange, it should be noted that the flange axis should be on the same horizontal line, both sides of the flange should be perpendicular to the pipeline, the gap is uniform, the bolt should cover the gasket to increase the contact area, the bolt fastening to symmetrical force, to ensure the ideal sealing effect.
