The connecting process of PE pipe is analyzed

Hot melt connection is a PE water supply pipe connection. Generally, it is suitable for connecting pipe fittings with small diameter, small section and thin pipe wall (the common diameter is below DN63mm), which has the advantages of simple connection, long service life and not easy to corrode. The following is a brief introduction of the main steps of hot-melt connection construction process:
 
 
 
 
 
1. Material preparation: place the pipe or fittings in a flat position on the docking machine, leaving a cutting margin of 10-20mm.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2. Clamping: Select appropriate clamps according to welded pipes and fittings, clamp pipes and prepare for cutting.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Cutting: Cutting impurities and oxide layer of welded pipe segment and pipe fitting end face to ensure that the butt end face is smooth, smooth and free of impurities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
4. Centering: The end face of the two welded pipe segments should be completely aligning. The smaller the wrong side is, the better; the wrong side should not exceed 10% of the wall thickness. Otherwise, it will affect the butt quality.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
5. Heating: The butt joint temperature is generally between 210-230℃. The heating time of the heating plate is different in summer and winter.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
6. Switching: Remove the heating plate and quickly make the two thermal melting end faces stick and pressurize. In order to ensure the quality of melting butt, the shorter the switching period, the better.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
7. Fusion butt joint: it is the key to welding. The butt joint process should always be under the melting pressure.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
8. Cooling: Keep the butt joint pressure unchanged, and let the interface cool slowly. The cooling time shall be determined by touching the curling edge and not feeling the heat.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
9. Docking completion: release the slips after cooling, remove the docking machine, and prepare for the next connection.
